Suspect sought in Port Richmond shooting

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting on Monday evening in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Monmouth Street.

Police say a man was found with a gunshot wound to the back and rushed to the hospital.

There was no word on what may have sparked the shooting.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue t-shirt and camouflage shorts.
