POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Police said a suspect has been arrested in a double shooting that left a brother and sister hospitalized.

The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Friday in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood at 27th and Snyder streets.

A 15-year-old suspect opened fire striking the 16-year-old boy in the abdomen and the 19-year-old woman in the back and leg, police said.

Police rushed the victims to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. They are in stable condition.

A weapon was recovered in the 1600 block of South 28th Street, police said.
