Otter pup learns to swim at Oregon Zoo

While they may be naturally buoyant, Tucker the otter pup at Oregon Zoo needed plenty of help learning to swim when he first started to take the plunge in April.

Tucker is one of two otter pups recently born at the Oregon Zoo. According to keeper Celess Edinger in a statement from the zoo, Tucker and Nellie were born in February and had only just started taking to the water.

The video shows Tucker's mother Tilly encouraging him into the water and lifting him by the teeth to stay afloat.
