Weather may have played a role in this deadly accident.

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- The wet weather may be to blame for a fatal accident in Blackwood, Camden County.

Police say a pedestrian was hit by a car along the 400 block of south Black Horse Pike just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, but couldn't be saved.

The driver remained at the scene.

Police have not yet said if the driver will face any charges.
