Driver hits cyclist in Lower Moreland Twp.

LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- A cyclist was injured in a crash in Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County.

Police say a car hit the cyclist on Philmont Avenue near Tomlinson Road just after 5 p.m. Sunday.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene.

The victim was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital.

There is no word on that person's condition.
