WALLACE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County.
The accident was reported just after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday on the westbound Turnpike at mile marker 307.1 in Wallace Township.
Pennsylvania State Police say a vehicle flipped over.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were taken to area hospitals.
The accident caused the closure of the westbound Turnpike at the Downingtown interchange. All lanes have since reopened at 10:00 p.m.
