Philadelphia Housing Authority officer injured in crash

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An officer with the Philadelphia Housing Authority is recovering after a car crash.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 46th Street and Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.

The officer's vehicle collided with another. The impact sent the officer's car into a parked vehicle.

The officer was taken to the hospital for various injuries and observation.

The driver of the other vehicle was being treated for injuries and was in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
