PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Former Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham will run for mayor, her spokesperson tells Action News Wednesday.
Elinor Dezzi says Abraham has made the decision to get back into the political game.
However, no date for a formal announcement was given.
Dezzi says Abraham is currently fundraising and meeting with advisers.
Earlier in the day, Ken Trujillo formally announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination in next May's primary.
The 54-year-old attorney, and leader in the Latino community, once served as the city solicitor and is a former federal prosecutor.
Former Michael Nutter administration official Terry Gillen announced her candidacy earlier this month.
