Worker hospitalized after scaffold collapses in Queen Village

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A worker is hospitalized with serious injuries after a scaffold collapsed in Queen Village.

It happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday at Front and Bainbridge Street.

A 30-year-old man was working on a scaffold when it collapsed, sending him to a forty-foot fall.

He was taken to Jefferson Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating.
