NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the man who robbed one convenience store and tried to rob another in the Northeast - while wearing a pink hat and pink glasses.
Both incidents happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 3rd.
In the first incident, police say the man walked into the 7-Eleven at 2:40 a.m. armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.
When the employee backed away, police say the suspect fled the store without taking anything.
Then, at 3:10 a.m., police say the same suspect entered the Wawa at 9456 State Road armed with a knife.
In this incident, the employee handed over cash and the suspect fled north on State Road.
There were no injuries in either incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'6" tall, weighing 140 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, gray shoes, a black mask, that pink hat and pink glasses.
