Firefighters battle flames after train car derails in Brewerytown. Sarah Bloomquist reports during Action News at 12 p.m. on October 18, 2017.

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- A fire broke out in a box car of a freight train that came off the tracks in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at 32nd and Thompson streets.

The train car was on the CSX track when it landed on its side.

Investigators say the derailment caused a small trash fire to start.

Firefighters placed the fire under control.

There are no reports of injuries.

At this time, it's unclear what caused the box car to jump the tracks.
