2 injured in West Philadelphia collision

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were injured in a crash in West Philadelphia.

Authorities say two cars collided at the intersection of 50th and Spruce streets just after 1 a.m. Friday.

One car ended up on its side up on the sidewalk.

The crash also snapped a fire hydrant off its mount and damaged a fence.

The two people were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There is no word on if anyone will be charged.
