During the State Department's daily briefing a reporter got busted playing the game.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WPVI) -- It's become common to see Pokemon Go players chasing the characters through the streets, into parks, and even up trees. But on Friday it turned up in an unlikely place.

During the State Department's daily briefing, which is usually a pretty serious affair, a reporter got busted playing the game.

The spokesman stopped his statement in mid-sentence to call the reporter out.

When asked whether he was able to catch his character, the reporter responded that the cell signal at the state department wasn't very good.

No word on which character he was trying to catch.
