Police search for man wanted in Center City iPhone theft

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect after a woman's iPhone was stolen out of her hand last week in Center City.

Police said a 27-year-old woman was in the area of 15th and Walnut streets on August 19, when her rose-colored iPhone XS was taken.

A man grabbed the phone then took off running toward the subway platform, near the Broad Street line.

The phone has an estimated value of $1,000.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call police at 215-686-8477.
