1 injured in Delaware County house fire

CHESTER TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was injured in a house fire in Delaware County.

It happened along the 1300 block of Rainer Road in Chester Township just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Crews were focused on a second-floor bedroom area, although Action News has been told the fire may have started in the kitchen.

One person was taken to Lankenau Hospital, but the extent of their injuries is not known.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause.
