2-alarm fire shuts down Route 130 in Gloucester City, New Jersey

GLOUCESTER CITY, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Both directions of route 130 in Gloucester City, Camden County were shut down early Saturday due to a fire.

Firefighters worked to tame the flames shooting from the Sergeant Scrap Metal Recycling Shop.

The fire broke out at around 5 a.m. Saturday.

The fire is reached two alarms and was placed under control within an hour.

Route 130 was shut down between Klemm Avenue and Route 42, but has since re-opened.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
