2 arrested and charged for Philly bicycle thefts

Two men have been arrested after a series of bicycle thefts in Philadelphia.

Robert Kradzinski, 30, and John Starson 28, were taken into custody after a bicycle theft at Drexel University.

Drexel police were called shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday after the suspects stole two bicycles.

The men fled when police tried to stop them, but officers eventually caught up to them after a brief foot chase.

Police say the suspects were also responsible for stealing a total of four bicycles on Saturday and Sunday at a garage on South 18th Street.

Investigators say Kradzinski is also responsible for the theft of three bikes in the 3200 block of Chestnut Street on October 8th.

Both suspects are homeless, police said.

They facing multiple theft charges.
