2 arrested after months-long investigation results in drug bust in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two people have been arrested in Trenton in connection with a months-long investigation that resulted in a drug bust, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office announced on Wednesday.

Andrew Anderson, 35, and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Aniyah Boone, were arrested on Thursday.

Multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on Anderson's home on Patriots Way, where authorities seized roughly $32,000 in cash, according to officials.

Officials say 160 grams of suspected cocaine - worth roughly $8,000 -- was also found in Anderson's vehicle he was driving at the time of his arrest.

Anderson has been charged with first-degree narcotics offenses and money laundering. Prosecutors are holding to hold him in jail, pending trial.

Boone was charged with second-degree narcotics offenses and money laundering. She was released pending future court proceedings.
