2 children hospitalized after fire in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two children were rushed to the hospital following a fire in Philadelphia's Olney section.

It happened around 9 p.m. on the 200 block of West Duncannon Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, there was smoke coming from the two-story twin home.

Firefighters placed the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.

The two children - a boy and a girl - were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. There was no word on their conditions.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
