
RICHMOND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two firefighters in Berks County have been killed in the line of duty.
Authorities say it happened while the firefighters were searching for a missing woman in Richmond Township around 6 p.m. Saturday.
They were riding a UTV when a car fatally struck them.
Witnesses say that the Toyota Camry was swerving when it drove off the road and hit the firefighters head on.
The driver and a passenger ran from the scene, but were later taken into custody.
No word yet on any charges.
