2 luxury cars stolen during armed robbery from Old City parking facility in Philadelphia

PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after two high-end, luxury vehicles were stolen from a parking facility in Philadelphia's Old City section.

Officers were called out to a parking facility in the 300 block of Race Street around 4:20 a.m. on Thursday.

An employee told police he was inside the parking booth when two masked men, dressed in all black and wearing gloves, came up to the window and allegedly hit him with black handguns.

The victim said there was also a third man in a dark-colored vehicle parked near the booth.

One of the suspects allegedly used a window punch to crack the booth window before kicking it in, according to police.

The employee told police he then opened the door as one of the men pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at him.

The suspects took two sets of keys from the keyboard inside the booth before taking off.

The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a dark-colored vehicle, as well as an orange or yellow Lamborghini and a dark gray Porsche.

The employee suffered cuts to his left leg from broken glass. He was taken to Pennsylvania Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
