Philadelphia man charged after stabbing on I-476 in Montgomery County
LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A 40-year-old man from Philadelphia has been charged in connection with a stabbing that happened on the Blue Route over the weekend.

Samuel Marquez was charged on Monday with aggravated assault, according to police.
The incident led to a police pursuit Sunday evening that ended at a Sunoco gas station near Villanova University, prompting the campus to go into a temporary lockdown at the time.
It began around 5:30 p.m. when the victim was traveling from I-76 East to I-476 South.
Police say the victim was hit from behind by a U-Haul truck in the southbound lanes of the highway after the Conshohocken exit. After the crash, investigators say the victim was assaulted by multiple men in the U-Haul and possibly other vehicles.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for serious injuries after being stabbed in the abdomen.
Sources said the two suspects fled in a U-Haul truck, prompting a police chase.
They also said a Lower Merion police officer crashed during the response; she was treated and released from a hospital.
The pursuit ended at a Sunoco gas station on Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion Township.
According to sources, the suspects threw the knife and ran on foot.
The shelter-in-place order was lifted around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday after the suspects were taken into custody. Sources said one suspect was arrested in nearby Unkefer Park.
State police are continuing to investigate. Authorities have not yet released details about what happened or the relationship between those involved.
