2 people wounded after gunfire erupts in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman is in critical condition after police say she was shot while sitting on the steps of her home in Wilmington, Delaware.

She's one of two people wounded when gunfire erupted in the area of 10th and Bennet streets around noon Monday.

Police say a 28-year-old man was also shot. He is in stable condition.

Investigators were combing through evidence at two crime scenes, blocks apart.

It's unclear how this all unfolded.

Authorities have not made any arrests.
