

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- An animal cruelty investigation is underway in Mercer County, New Jersey.
Shirley Henderson from Ewing Township is facing charges after 24 dogs were rescued from her home.
Police say they were being kept in unsanitary conditions and are currently receiving medical care at EASEL Animal Rescue.
The organization is now asking for donations after one of the two dozen dogs rescued gave birth to four puppies.
