6abc hosts Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade Breakfast

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- 6abc was proud to host the Juneteenth Parade Sponsor breakfast Thursday morning, presented by the Pennsylvania Juneteenth Initiative.

It served as a networking opportunity ahead of this year's Juneteenth Parade and Festival, which is the largest in the nation.

It was an opportunity to also highlight related events, like a scholarship pageant and community breakfast in the days before the parade.

Action News anchors Tamala Edwards and Rick Williams will join Gary Shepherd hosting the parade this summer.

A performance by the Highmark Mann Motion and Music drumline was also featured.

Philadelphia's Juneteenth Parade and Festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 21st.
