Allegiant Air announces new nonstop route from Atlantic City to Myrtle Beach

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Allegiant Air will launch a new nonstop route for Atlantic City this summer.

The low-cost airline announced it will fly from Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, beginning on May 21.

To celebrate, Allegiant will offer one-way fares as low as $49. Tickets are now available.

Allegiant already offers flights from the Jersey Shore to points in Florida and has a new route to the Dominican Republic starting in March.
