ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Election results from Atlantic City, New Jersey, show that Democratic Mayor Marty Small easily survived a challenge from Republican Naeem Khan.
The reelection comes as Small and his wife are set to go on trial for allegedly abusing their teenage daughter. Both have pleaded not guilty.
The mayor's trial will begin on November 10. The trial for his wife, La'Quetta Small, who is also the superintendent of Atlantic City Schools, will happen on December 1.
