Corrections officer accused of sexually assaulting female inmate inside her cell

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (WPVI) -- An Atlantic County Corrections officer is accused of sexually assaulting a female inmate in her cell.

Investigators say 24-year-old Sebastian Flores-Huamani, of Mays Landing, faces assault and official misconduct charges.

He was arrested Tuesday at his home.

Authorities say the alleged assault happened on September 4 within the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

The incident remains under investigation.
