It will soon cost you to visit the beach in Strathmere, NJ

UPPER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The beaches of Strathmere will no longer be one of the last in New Jersey to offer free access.

The Upper Township committee voted to approve beach tags this week.

They will cost $10 per day, or $20 for a weekly tag, beginning next summer.

Seasonal passes will cost $45, or $30 if bought before President's Day.

People under 16, active military and veterans will not need a beach tag.
