Bimbo Bakeries leaving corporate operations in Montgomery County

HORSHAM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Bimbo Bakeries is leaving Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for a new home down south.

Bimbo Bakeries in Horsham, Pennsylvania will move its corporate operations to Dallas, Texas.

The move closes a 17-year chapter in the Philadelphia area and positions the company closer to its global headquarters in Mexico City.

The bakery is known for offering the brands Arnold, Entenmanns and Sara Lee.

Bimbo says the sales center and regional operations in Conshohocken will remain.
