Philadelphia Eagles fans excited ahead of 2026 schedule release

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There is growing anticipation from Birds fans, as the NFL gets set to release its full schedule Thursday night.

It comes after we learned the Philadelphia Eagles will be heading overseas to play in London in October, as well as face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

"Eagles are going to bury them in London," one fan told Action News.

The trash talk has already begun, just one day after Eagles fans learned the Birds will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this fall.

Fans expect full support for the team on game day, with kickoff set for Sunday, October 11, at 9:30 ET.

"It's nice to wake up at 9 and watch some football," said Nick Castle, Northeast Philadelphia.

Others will get to see the game in person, like fans who made the trip eight years ago.

Stefanie Morgan, president of the Green Legion travel company, says fans didn't waste any time calling about traveling overseas.

"Phone ringing off the hook," she said.

Her company plans it all out, including flights, hotels and plenty of sightseeing.

She's expecting about a thousand fans to make the trip.

"And it's not just about going to London for the Eagles game. It's about exploring London for what it has to offer," Morgan added.

Fans are clearly ready to root on the team any way they can and are eagerly awaiting the release of the full season schedule.

"Just waiting to see when we play Green Bay and Seattle, and all their big games," Castle said.

Presale for the London game begins on May 27.

The NFL will announce the full schedule for all of the teams at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
