TRENTON, NJ (WPVI) -- A precautionary boil water advisory is in effect for parts of Mercer County, New Jersey.
Trenton Water Works issued the alert Tuesday afternoon following a water main break.
It happened on Olden Avenue between Arctic Parkway and Princeton Avenue in Ewing Township.
Lawrence Township is also included in the advisory.
The water main has been repaired, but there was a temporary loss of water pressure, which increases the risk for contamination.
The advisory will be in place until lab tests on water samples are complete.
