Car meet turns chaotic in Philadelphia's Frankford section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police were called to a large car meet up that got out of control in the city's Frankford section.

Officers responded to G Street and Ramona Avenue around 1:15 on Sunday morning to break up the gathering.

During the incident, investigators say one vehicle hit a police cruiser with two officers inside and fled the scene.

A second car attempted to hit a police lieutenant but missed.

No officers were injured, and no arrests have been made.
