Man killed at scene of car meet in Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting of a man in Hunting Park.

It happened around 1:20a.m. on the 4300 block of Rising Sun Avenue, at the scene of a car meet.

Police responded to reports of a person shot in the area. They arrived and found a man, 22, in a vacant lot suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died.

Police have not made any arrests.
