Car smashes through fences, hits home in Upland, Pa.

UPLAND, Pa. (WPVI) -- An out-of-control car smashed through several fences and came to rest against a house in Upland, Delaware County.

It happened at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

The driver escaped with minor injuries.

Police say the home did not sustain serious structural damage.

There was no immediate word what caused the driver to lose control.
