Casa Oui blends culinary cultures for all-day dining distinction

QUEEN VILLAGE (WPVI) -- Longtime couple Christy Cheyne and Israel Nocelo just opened a new spot in Queen Village for all-day dining called Casa Oui.

The concept combines Israel's penchant for Latin cuisine -- as was the focus of his former Si Taqueria in South Philly -- and Christy's background in pastry-making, when she had Oui Bakery in Old City.

Now their talents and their cultures come together on a menu that goes from early-morning espresso bar and sweet treats, to evening cocktails and wine, with grill and raw bar specialties.
