City Tavern's garden to reopen as summer pop-up in Philadelphia's Old City section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- As America gets ready to celebrate 250 years, Philadelphia is offering people a chance to go back in time.

A seasonal pop-up garden will open behind the City Tavern on 2nd Street on June 25.

It's thanks to a partnership between Historic Philadelphia, and Independence National Historical Park.

The site will offer food and drinks, colonial games and historical figure impersonators.
