Civil complaint filed seeking to unseat a jailed Willingboro council member

WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- A civil complaint has been filed in New Jersey Superior Court seeking to remove a Willingboro Township council member.

Nathaniel Anderson is currently in federal prison after being convicted for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud.

Despite being locked up, Anderson has not resigned.

The suit is asking the court to force Anderson to forfeit his ability to serve on the council.

A hearing is scheduled in September.
