PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The City of Philadelphia says a coding error was to blame for delays in payment to Philly Future Track trainees last month.
The trainees were helping to keep the city clean while District Council 33 was on strike in July.
Some of the trainees told Action News on Friday they hadn't received a check.
But in an update Monday, the city said a majority of the trainees have received their pay, and the rest should see their checks by Friday.
Philly Future Track is a six-month paid workforce development program launched by the Streets Department that provides job training and readiness.
