VOORHEES, New Jersey (WPVI) -- 20-year-old Dylan Geller is remembered by his family as an ever-smiling, go-getting, sports-loving, all-inclusive student, brother, uncle, and son.
In middle school, Geller was diagnosed with epilepsy and suffered many seizures. But that never stopped him from doing what he loved.
Geller had a passion for working with individuals with special needs and was studying at Rowan University. His dream was to create a physical education program for that population.
Tragically, Geller passed away on July 27, 2025, due to a seizure he experienced while riding a jet ski with his brother, Chase.
Chase Geller became determined to honor his brother's legacy. He and his family came up with the phrase, 'Do It Like Dylan,' which has been adopted by the community as a mission statement and way of life.
Under the moniker, 'Do It Like Dylan,' the family has raised over $57,000 on a GoFundMe page and continues to fundraise with other avenues such as Venmo. Their goal is to create a scholarship fund for students who want to pursue careers in special education.
And they think the 'Do It Like Dylan' foundation could have a greater impact by supporting research, lobbying for legislation, partnering with sports teams, and hosting fundraising events.
The family plans to host an event for Dylan's birthday in November.
