Visitors who shop or dine in Chinatown can now save money on parking

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Drivers who shop in Chinatown can now save money on parking, thanks to a new partnership between the Philadelphia Parking Authority and Chinatown Development Corporation.

Visitors who shop or dine at participating Chinatown businesses can receive $5 parking for up to three hours.

It's only available at the AutoPark at the Fashion District garage, located at 44 North 9th Street.

Participants must obtain a parking voucher from where they shop or eat.

According to PPA officials, the move is designed to "support Chinatown's restaurants and small businesses while providing visitors with a convenient parking option near the neighborhood's dining, shopping, and cultural destinations."
