Employees sprayed with mace during robbery in Northeast Philadelphia store

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A brazen robbery was caught on camera inside a store in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened at a health and beauty business near the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Overington Street on the afternoon of March 31.

Police say the suspect entered the store and started hiding items in her clothes.

She was confronted, and police say that's when she sprayed two employees with mace.

She then ran off with multiple stolen items in her possession.
