Family of 8 displaced after tree falls on home in Willingboro, New Jersey

WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Red Cross is helping a Burlington County, New Jersey, family after a tree fell on their home Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 10 a.m. on the unit block of Sunset Road in Willingboro.

Eight members of a family were displaced, along with their dog and cat.

The Red Cross said volunteers provided the family members with emergency financial assistance for things like temporary lodging, food, clothing, and other immediate needs.

Red Cross added that its Disaster Health and Disaster Mental Health services are also available to the family if needed.
