Tristan H. Cockcroft:Saquon Barkley has a career night: Barkley continued his extraordinary first season in Philadelphia with an Eagles franchise record-setting, and ninth-best-ever in the NFL, 255 rushing yards on "Sunday Night Football," good for a career-high 46.2 PPR fantasy points. It gave him a commanding lead among running backs on the fantasy leaderboard; Barkley's 265.9 points being a 39.8 point lead over second-place Derrick Henry (who, to be fair, does play on Monday night). Some additional Barkley facts:

  • This was Barkley's fifth game of 30 or more points this season, two more than anyone else in the league has had (again entering Monday night, whenLamar Jacksonwill get to add to his second-place total of three). There have been only 17 other instances in history of a running back having more 30 point games in a complete season -- Marshall Faulk (2000), Priest Holmes (2003) and LaDainian Tomlinson (2006) are the record-holders with nine apiece -- and Barkley's number so far is one shy of the record six by a running back through 11 team games (a record shared by nine players).
  • Barkley is now on pace for 410.9 points, a threshold that has been exceeded in a season only nine times by a running back in history.
  • Barkley's 265.9 points through his team's first 11 games is actually not a career best. He scored 286.0 points through that many as a rookie with the New York Giants in 2018.
  • Barkley's 24.2 point average this season, however, is greater than the 24.1 point average with which he completed the 2018 campaign. He would need to average 19.98 points over his final six games to match his final 2018 point total of 385.8 (in 16 games). Barkley has exceeded 19.98 points in six of his 11 contests already this season.
  • Among Barkley's final six opponents (@BAL, CAR, PIT, @WSH, DAL, NYG), three rank among the eight defenses that have allowed the most PPR fantasy points per game to running backs, while none ranks among the eight that have allowed the fewest (Week 13's Baltimore Ravens are his toughest remaining matchup, having allowed the 10th-most points per game to the position).
