Fire damages South Jersey restaurant just weeks before opening in Egg Harbor Township

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Fire damaged a South Jersey restaurant that was scheduled to open in just a few weeks.

Crews were called to "Dooney's" on the 6800 block of Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township around 6:15 a.m. on Friday.

Firefighters reported smoke coming from the building when they arrived, but were able to quickly get it under control.

There were no reports of any injuries.
