Friendly's Ice Cream recalling in 3 states, including Pennsylvania, over packaging mistake

Check your freezer. Friendly's Ice Cream has recalled hundreds of tubs due to a labeling mistake.

More than 300 tubs of ice cream were packaged in vanilla bean containers, but with cookies and cream lids.

The mismatch means some people with soy and wheat allergies could be exposed to unlisted ingredients.

That could possibly lead to severe or even life-threatening reactions.

The affected cartons were distributed in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

No illnesses have been reported.
