Come New Year's Day, police will impose a $25 fine for violations

HAVERFORD, TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Haverford Township, Delaware County, plan to issue warnings to parents of children caught on e-scooters or e-bikes without a helmet on.
This applies to children 16 and under who are riding them, even if they are a passenger, or riding in an attached restraining seat or trailer.

The warning period runs until the end of the year.
Then, come New Year's Day, police will impose a $25 fine for violations.
