MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Children and families got to make cards for George Washington to celebrate his birthday, and Presidents' Day.
They were joined by live impersonators of the first President, as well as Martha Washington.
"General Washington, you see him on the dollar bill. You see the statues of him...but you also get to see that he was a person....It's a fun event. All of our visitors can come in, greet the general, give him birthday well-wishes," said Adam Gresek, Director of Visitor & Community Engagement.
"We hope everybody gets out, support your national parks. It's America's 250th birthday this year, and no better way to celebrate it than going to any of the national park sites across the country," he continued.
