Two hospitalized after crash involving Upper Darby police vehicle in Drexel Hill

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway following a crash involving a police officer's vehicle in Delaware County.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Shadeland Avenue and Marshall Road in Drexel Hill.

An Upper Darby Police SUV and another car collided.

The officer and a person in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital to be treated.

There is no word on their conditions or what may have led up to the crash.
