PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Scattered storms, especially south and east of the city will continue to provide a flood threat, but the weather improves this afternoon.

MONDAY: Oppressive humidity with downpours and storms scattered mostly through South Jersey and Delaware. It will be dry for the Phillies tonight but still very humid. High of 85.

TUESDAY: It looks drier and brighter with a one day break in the humidity. High 87.

WEDNESDAY: Warm, and turning tropically humid again. In the afternoon. We could have a few downpours or thunderstorms in the afternoon, high 86.

THURSDAY: It's hot and humid with a good deal of sun, but still the chance for a spotty afternoon storm, high 91.

FRIDAY: It's still soupy with a storm chance in the afternoon, high 92.

SATURDAY: It's still hot and humid with the chance for a late day storm around, high 90.

SUNDAY: It stays steamy, with the chance of a late day storm, high 91.
